Summary: Hitchhikerverse. Ah, this is obviously some strange usage of the word ‘Safe’ that I wasn't previously aware of.

Note: 'hitchhikerverse' refers to the Epic I'm working on, the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Multiverse. It... eats my time, I'm afraid. As evidenced by this little drabble of cannon-ness for the series. Just enjoy it as is for now,

The moment Riku realizes that he is so much bigger and stronger than Sora that he can pick him up and carry him around, he doesn’t let the boy down. Sora’s feet are only a few inches off the ground, but Riku’s hands against his full belly hurt, so he squirms.

Eventually Riku carries Sora out into the living room and sees that new girl. Riku holds Sora tighter, and Sora cries louder. Finally, inches away from the couch, right in between the fathers, he cries out. “Daaa~d! Riku’s hurting me!”

At the same time, both Dad and Oyaji intone, without looking. “Riku, stop tormenting your brother.” Riku lets Sora down, a shocked look on his face, and the adults laugh. Neither boy understands why. All Riku knows is that now he doesn’t need to prove that Sora is his, because if Dad and Oyaji agree, it’s probably true even if Mama or ‘Kaasan doesn’t like it.

I got out school yesterday! (Excusing tomorrow's Double Secret Probation, of which there is no Chamber.) Wooh!

Alright, so for once I'm going to try and keep myself to a reasonable number of stories to update. Here's my plan.

http://shaanime.forumcircle.com. Going to log in everyday I am physically capable of it it and... well, I like to think that something will happen there this year.
http://kristanite.webs.com/52themes.htm. Damnit, I started this 2 years ago! How hard is it to write a series of one-shots! (Srsly: on one hand, I don't get intimidated by plot like I do with my epics, but on the other hand, I like writing epics.)
Mello Magic: it's an epic crossover that I have fallen in love with. I want to at least write all the scenes on my timeline (which is one and a half sheets of Composition Book long, front and back.) I have, like, 80 different possible endings for it already, but it's not the story that can really end well... like, not even an Epilogue of Fail(tm) could be worked in.
Prodigal Son: I need to seriously hammer out my timeline farther than Arc 1, Arc 2, Arc 3 to do it, and get in the mood to write more fluffy stuff for the first couple arcs at least (the third arc is dark. And has a lot of NC-17 bits that the yaoi fans will want me to type... stupid Raito, taking over the fic...). But Ickle Mail and Ickle Mihael are my babies. And I already sort of have the sequel started (in my head, at least.)
A possible Ouran/Death Note crossover I've been accosted by, if it ever decides to have a plot.

That and my One-Shot Projects (like epics, but with more plot and more places that people will attempt to castrate me if I stop there... even though I'm a girl) and my Summer Reading stuff will keep me more than occupied... the only problem is, will it keep my attention.

Oh! And I'm going to be auditioning for Genkai and Koenma (and probably some other parts, although to be honest I think those are the two I have any shot at) in Joishbishmyoga's The Best Defense movie as soon as I find a microphone and a computer that both work and work together. My good mic only works on my little sister's computer (as in, we have the wrong plugs on my dad's and mine, and my poor Grapi died) and the mic my dad loned me for mine only pics up static. I still want to try the one he didn't loan me though... (call it Author's Inquisition)

Every mall has a Victoria’s Secret. EVERY mall. According to my friend Suffy, who is male. Cuz he’s the guy to ask.

So I found out that that long ‘o’ sound at the end of the –mashoo phrases I’ve been using is actually spelled with a hiragana o followed by a hiragana u, the usual way a long o is written. My sensei used two o’s when she taught it to us. Live and learn!

Any plunnies will be accepted and beaten to death. I have way too much homework to write right now, but when I can, I will.

	It's December, so now I'm writing Halloween-y fanfiction. Darkness ahead. It's darker than my English room when we're watching Beloved. Francesca (don't ask--my teacher) won't turn out her lamp. No lights shining here. No reflection to be found. Did I mention this fic is DARK? ( Read more... ) It's a one-shot, but it's not done yet. Mello's from Russia in this, because I know more about Russian Christmas traditions than Italian.

Unlike most of my anime-loving friends, my Japanese vocabulary isn't that wide: I don't watch a lot of anime where they shout single words or short phrases out randomly. I learned baka from fanfiction, not anime. So a really good Japanese-English dictionary site like Jisho.org is a very welcome resource to me. Sometimes I don't find what I want, but find interesting things instead.

(By the by, I was looking for how to write the phrase "Kristanite was X" or "Kristanite was here" for my whiteboard, since I'm going to be photographing it soon. Just as something random to have on it. I really just need the correct verb for 'was'--the first part as "kurisutana-ito wa koko ni ~~" should work, right?)

At the end of my search for the English words "have been" was this 'idiomatic expression':

クレオパトラの鼻がもう少し低かったなら世界の歴史は変わっていたであろう.
クレオパトラのはながもうすこしひくかったならせかいのれきしはかわっていたであろう.
Cleopatora no hana ga mou sukoshi hiku kattanara sekai no rekishi wa kawatteitadearuu.

Naturally this lead me to search for some more creative terminology.

Never heard of that one before. 'Caesar' and 'Cleopatra' made me think of Rome, and these are phrases that just sound WRONG is Japanese:

Downloading some choice Death Note scenes: I don't have nearly enough L and Misa, especially because at least 5 AMVs I plan to make have L, andat least 2 have Misa. I think I'm going to make some icons now though. I have a lot of random thoughts on my board for them.

	My notebook is filled with fanfiction. This may or may not end up being the sequel to something, but it's certainly fun to write. One of my theories about MxM: Mello's a scary piece of shit. He's also asocial, so he's not going to actively go out and get himself followers in the mafia (like me). Matt, on the other hand, is deathly afraid of people. To the point that he doesn't go out if he can help it. He's especially nonconfrontational and is courteous to people as a defence mechanism because he doesn't want to risk starting a fight. Who would you flock to? This is about... two, three weeks after Mello leaves Wammy's. In an immaginary city that stole the name and location of Cleveland, Ohio. I haven't lived in Cleveland since I was 8, so everything about it is made up, except that the public transport actually runs (unlike the city where Kamchatka Vodka and the High School Adventures of Raito Yagami take place) and the mall has an awesome foodcourt. Or so my brother tells me. I'm in school, so whatever I don't get to I'll post later.Sorry about the repost without any addition, but I forgot to cut it on my way to class. ( Looks like ole curiosity done dragged in another kitty cat )

( Mello is too damn easy ) I love Baby Kruffy font. I think I need to make a different photobucket for my icons, because mine is private and therefore not searchable. Hmm.... My Mello Urb just met my Matt Urb in Neon East, friended him until their relationship was at 100%, and then they kissed. I absolutely squeaked.

Chehehe, I'm treating this game like I'm going to write a fic for it (example: I'm going to put in fangirls next once these two have fulfilled most of the goals, so Mello is adding a lot of guys and some girls to his crew so that they can join and not interrupt the Yaoi. I is a smrt cookie.) Wouldn't that be an interesting take on how Mello rose through the Mafia? Just change a few names... Darius could be Rod Ross, etc. With Matt doing all the work for him whenever there's nothing that Mello will get immediately out of it (ie socials)

Kehehe, I can't wait to use Blastikiss on Matt...

	I just set up Krysti's IJ (krystalkamichi). I'm HOPING that's why she hasn't posted yet, because if it isn't... (grrr!face) My little sister had discovered the joys of iMovie and I have no excuse to keep the headset microphone away from her (my new compy doesn't have the right jacks) -shudder- At least she's still at the point that she's asking dad before she joins websites... I shudder to think of what would happen if she got an account on Youtube, what with her being such a socialite and all. People in my family tend to have a voice made for blogging, you know? Myself included. The clock on my menubar won't show up for some reason, what's up with that? idk. I'm going to have to look for invisible files in the next few days and try and find those programs I dl'd. Oooh! I'ma get service hours for tutoring my teacher on how to use her new Mac. Yay! Once she gets used to it, she'll be fine, but none of our other Mac-loving teachers have taken the time to do that for her. I really hope I can help. <3 My Katakana quiz for Japanese is tommorrow, and there's an oral quiz on Friday. I'm pretty sure I've got the same time... I might want to skip advisory. Last time I barely made it! lol. Wish me luck: ganbattekudasai in Japanese: gan ba (--) te k' da sai. The double consonate is a chiisai tsu, or a small letter tsu, and is pronounced as a one-syllable long pause. My menubar is still being stupid, but I'll see what I can do about getting some visuals up later. (I have a really nice vid diagramming it, it's just 11.5 minutes long) The reason it's romanized as a double consonate is because when you go to make the pause, you automatically start forming the next consonate with your mouth. Hence, bat-te (pronounced bot-te, FYI). Idk, it's late and I have to go now. Laterz <3. (I was going to post some ficcage from my notebooks, but It's late.

That's about a third of a chapter of filler! W007! I was back tracking through.. someone's list of prompts, I'm sure. And came across 'foot', which is why they're inching a dresser along and why they're talking about socks. Matt and Mello have some in depth conversations sometimes. When they're not shopping for leather/Hot Topic-style clothing on the internet and stalking Adam (who always catches them).

I finished this first chapter, but it SUCKED! I mean, my beta liked it, but to was about 300 words of just fluff out of this. It was light, too light: this is supposed to be a heavy fic. So this is what you get for now. I liked the "epilogue" part (every chapter in the first arch will have one) though:

Delilah’s theme song, and therefore this fic’s theme song, because where would it be without Dilly, is Magic Melody (Hardcore Remix). Really gets the creative juices flowing, that. It fits her, too: She’s all ‘the world of darkness’ and that song’s creepy and just works. I also like Delilah, and the song, so there. Delilah’s a party girl, and always has been. She also, in the words of my dumb Aunt Suzi, ‘never wants to grow up’. She’s a kid: she sees no consequences to her actions. This is a game to her. Don’t worry, she gets more evil. There’s one thing she does that won’t be revealed ‘til the very last chappie. I have a plot for this, after all.

Why I shouldn't be allowed to rename my classmates as Watari, L, Takada, and YO SHORTY!!!!11!
